Easy Balsamic Salad Dressing

This is an adapted recipe from when I was on South Beach Diet. It was a part of every salad (and if you’ve never been on SBD that is every day) and after I realized that SBD did nothing for me and quit I still held onto my recipe for this salad dressing. Now I use it more often than anything else because it’s light, tangy, sweet and goes well with richer foods.

Easy Balsamic Salad Dressing

1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1/3 cup olive oil
1 Tablespoon water
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon each salt, pepper and garlic powder

Combine everything together in a jar or a squeeze bottle and shake. You can leave this on the counter or you can keep it in the fridge, it will be thicker if it’s cold. Just shake real good before putting it on a salad.
